Richard S. Diamond Of Counsel

"Of Counsel" is a term that refers to an attorney who serves as outside counsel to the firm. His role is to facilitate certain matters, serve as an advisor, or work on particular cases. Furthermore, the American Bar Association Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility has noted that an "of counsel" designation serves to describe an attorney who is available for consultation, has a close relationship with the firm, and works on limited cases. |
Attorney Profile
Mr. Diamond was graduated from UCLA in 1958 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Immediately thereafter he commenced law school, also at UCLA, and began practicing law in January of 1962. From 1966 until the mid-80's he was a member of the America Board of Trial Advocates. He has served as a Judge Pro-Tem in both the Los Angeles Municipal and Superior Courts. He has been engaged in the general practice of law and most recently his emphasis has been on criminal defense and plaintiff's personal injury. Mr. Diamond has appeared regularly before California Administrative Law Tribunals as well as the Superior Court. He has tried well in excess of 100 jury matters and countless bench trials.
