As a matter of professional courtesy

The initial consultation is never billed to the client. However, once the parties make a mutual decision to proceed with a case, a fee agreement must be in place before services can be rendered.

All fee agreements are determined on a case-by-case basis. While some matters are billed on an hourly basis, others simply require a flat fee retainer. In addition, some fee agreements are determined by the industry standard, as it may be customary for the parties to enter into a fee agreement on a contingency basis.

Our firm believes in flexibility and accessibility and, thus, we have changed the way that we conduct business. To make our services available to the public, we have employed various avenues for making a payment. The traditional methods of payment, such as checks, money orders, cashier's checks, and cash remain available. However, some clients wish to proceed with monthly payments and, therefore, we accept payment by credit card.

Public Service & Pro Bono

As officers of the court, we have a duty to serve the public. Therefore, in some instances, Diamond, Burt & Akhkashian LLP, may consider taking the matter on a pro bono basis if the interests of the public will be served.
